Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to international researchers and academics.
PhD holders and PhD candidates who are at the dissertation stage may apply. Research Scholarship applicants must be under 50 years of age.
Applicants must also have a research acceptance certificate from a university in Türkiye.

This is a research scholarship and not the regular Türkiye Scholarships programme for students seeking a new Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD admission.
Applicants should already have a suitable research project and obtain acceptance from a Turkish university before applying.
Application Period
Applications for the Research Scholarship are open throughout the year and are assessed in four application periods.
The current third application period runs from July to September 2026, with results announced in October.
