The University of Twente Scholarship 2027 will provide financial support to outstanding international students from non-EU/EEA countries who are admitted to eligible Master’s programmes at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
The scholarship application period for programmes starting in September 2027 opens on 15 October 2026.

Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to outstanding students from non-EU/EEA countries applying for eligible Master’s programmes at the University of Twente.
Nigerian students can apply if they meet the scholarship and Master’s programme requirements.
Applicants must first apply for an eligible Master’s programme and receive a conditional or full admission letter before applying for the scholarship.
The university also requires applicants to meet its academic and English-language requirements.

The scholarship applies to selected Master’s programmes at the University of Twente, including programmes in areas such as:
Computer Science
Business Information Technology
Applied Mathematics
Artificial Intelligence-related study areas
Robotics
Electrical Engineering
Embedded Systems
Industrial Engineering and Management
Sustainable Energy Technology
Applicants should check the official programme list because not every Master’s programme is eligible.

Application deadline: 1 April 2027 at 16:00 CET
What the Scholarship Covers
The scholarship provides between €3,000 and €22,000 for one year.
This is not a fully funded scholarship. Students remain responsible for costs not covered by the award, including other tuition and living expenses.
For a two-year Master’s programme, an additional scholarship may be available for the second year if the student meets the required academic conditions.
How to Apply
Applicants must first apply for admission to a qualifying Master’s programme at the University of Twente.
After receiving a conditional or full admission letter and obtaining a University of Twente student number, applicants can submit the separate scholarship application.
